What does humanism mean to your group?

We are all  Fulani and Ex-Sufi Muslims who previously believed in the supremacy of Islam and the Jihadist agenda of the Fulani tribe to colonize Africa. Eventually we fell out of this racist and tribalistic bias when  we became an ex-Muslim. We denounced Allah, the Arabian God, Islam and the teachings of Muhammad. We are now  humanists and humanism to us is the realization of the unification of all humans across all nations and tribes as a race and species that must fend and look after one another.  It is the realization that humans are the sole decider and coordinator of the fate of our race. That we must shun labels, superstitions, myths and bad culture that seeks to divide us and threaten our flourishing. To us, humanism as an idea should replace old religions and guide us into a new civilization that will make humans great again.

Project Description

The Zamanakoy Care Centre, located in Maradi, Niger, is a beacon of hope for orphaned and vulnerable children in the region. Rooted in humanist principles, the orphanage provides care, shelter, and an environment where children can thrive despite the challenges of their circumstances. However, the centre faces significant resource constraints, particularly as it prepares to meet the children’s needs for the upcoming new year. In a region where food insecurity and educational barriers are widespread, the children of Zamanakoy face dual challenges of access to adequate nutrition and essential school materials. Local food supplies, a staple for their daily sustenance, are critical to maintaining their physical health and vitality. Similarly, educational tools such as notebooks, pens, and pencils are indispensable for fostering their intellectual growth and ensuring they can participate fully in school activities.

This project aims to bridge these gaps by utilizing a budget of $300 to procure local food supplies and school materials. By investing in these essentials, we can not only meet immediate needs but also empower the children to embrace the new year with hope, health, and enthusiasm for learning. This initiative underscores the commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where the children can realize their full potential.

The proposed project represents a meaningful step toward supporting the children of Zamanakoy Care Centre as they embark on a new academic and personal journey. By addressing their immediate needs for nutritious food and school materials, we aim to alleviate some of the challenges they face and enable them to focus on their growth and development.

The success of this project hinges on the collective effort and generosity of supporters who believe in the power of small, impactful actions to transform lives. With your support, we can ensure that the children at Zamanakoy are equipped to face the year ahead with confidence, dignity, and a sense of opportunity. Together, let us create a brighter future for these young minds, fostering resilience and hope in the face of adversity.
