HGC builds shelter for 120 Almajiri
In Augusr 2022, HGC constructed 4 dwellings to house Almajiri boys in the northeastern city of Maidurguri. Almajiri are children abandoned by their parents (due to poverty) - the children often grow up to be criminals, or they are trafficked, or they join Boko Haram.
The dwellings each hold 30 boys - this means 120 now have shelter from the rain, wind, sun and other weather elements.
