Tai Solarin Humanist Primary School ( Minna, Nigeria)
Tai Solarin Humanist Primary School is named after an esteemed Nigerian humanist educator, who lived from 1916-1994. The school is directed by Saliu Olumide Saheed, HuMAN’s Africa Director. It is one of many successful projects carried out by the Minna Mutual Aid group.
The school has 87 students, who are children from the Minna Safe House, or the local community. The top emphasis at the school are teaching English, Critical Thinking, Science, and Computers.
