Shin Chan Orphanage

HERE

Shin Chan Orphanage takes care of 70 children abandoned by parents due to the civil war.

HuMAN gave them funds for a solar charging system that would provide them with electricity, and we gave them money for food.

They were referred to us by Burmese Atheists (below)

Burmese Atheists

The members of Burmese Atheists that Humanist Mutual Aid Network funds are all participants in the Myanmar democracy struggle against the military dictatorship. They are generally allied with student groups and occasionally with ethnic minority struggles.

Many of them work for mutual aid groups - such as Food Not Bombs - both inside Myanmar’s liberated areas or in refugee villages, like Mae Sot in Thailand.
