I am Nala Ngou, a humanist woman currently living in Rwanda, and I am reaching out to the Organization HuMAN for urgent support. The war in Rwanda, fueled by the conflict in the DRC, has created a devastating environment, particularly for women. Gender-based violence and brutality have become rampant, leaving many of us vulnerable and traumatized. I have personally experienced this violence, and the constant fear for my safety has made life unbearable. I am seeking funds to relocate to my hometown in Congo, where I can escape this cycle of abuse and find a safer, more stable environment.

The conflict has disproportionately affected women, exposing us to exploitation, sexual violence, and a lack of protection. As a humanist, I believe in the inherent dignity and equality of all people, but the reality here has shattered my sense of security and hope. The trauma I have endured has left deep emotional scars, and the ongoing instability makes it impossible to heal or plan for the future. Relocating to Congo would provide me with the opportunity to escape this hostile environment and begin the process of rebuilding my life.

In Congo, I would be able to reunite with my family and community, who can offer me the emotional support and safety I desperately need. Being surrounded by loved ones would help me heal from the trauma I have experienced and give me the strength to move forward. Additionally, returning to my hometown would allow me to contribute to my community and work toward creating a better future for myself and others.

Your support would be used solely for relocation. This relocation would not only save me from further harm but also provide me with a chance to live with dignity and peace.
