Koko Lubamba 

My name is Koko, a 37-year-old Congolese woman, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of myself and my other colleague. Due to the ongoing unrest in Rwanda, fueled by the conflict by the DRC, I have been forced to flee my home, leaving behind everything I once owned. My properties, including my house and small business, leave me with nothing but the clothes on my back. Life has become unbearable, as I struggle daily to meet my basic needs and live in constant fear for my safety.

The displacement has taken a toll on my mental and physical well-being. I have lost my sense of stability and hope for the future. The lack of access to proper shelter, food, and healthcare has made it nearly impossible to rebuild my life here. The constant uncertainty and trauma have left me yearning for a chance to return to my home country, where I can start anew and regain a sense of normalcy.

Relocation back to the Congo would solve most of my current problems. With your support, I can cover the costs of travel, secure safe housing, and establish a small business to sustain myself.
