Project Description / How Funds will be Spent

West Point is one of Monrovia's densely populated slums. In this part of Liberia, children are often left unattended and are often sexually abused. Child prostitution and sexual tourism is rampant.  There are large numbers of homeless children that live on the street with no roof over their head and no good place to take a bath or even go to the toilet.

This is what motivated me to start my sanctuary home that is dedicated to rescuing minors from the street and taking them into my house and taking care of them, so that they can be given a chance at a good life. I have been running the Mind2Love sanctuary for three and half years. We presently have 22 children.

We are seeking funds for food & household items, and school tuition & supplies. We sincerely hope we are provided with these funds.

BUDGET NEEDS

Food & Household Items: noodles, biscuits, groundnut oil, tea, milk, sugar, tissue paper, soap, petroleum jelly, toothpaste, bread

School Supplies: tuition, uniforms, backpacks, water bottles, food flasks, notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, A School bag for carry books and all stationary supplies
