Huge flooding ravaged northern Nigeria in September.

More than 1 million people were displaced from their homes. Hundreds of people died, properties were destroyed, businesses crippled.

Women, children and elderly were stuck for two days without food and water.

Maiduguri Safe House - a HuMAN partner with seven humanist residents - provided food and water to 300 children and elderly who were in a critical situation of hunger and thirst.

Volunteers cooked and distributed the food.

How the $300 was spent on food distribution.

1- Two bags of 25kg of rice = $60

2- Two 5 liters gallon of cooking oil = $20

3- Firewood, seasoning, onions , pepper etc $20

4- Two cartons of noodles = $30

5- Food containers= $5

6- Water = $15

Maiduguri Safe House repeated the food and water distribution for two days. $150x2= $300
